THIS CITY
The project "This City" focuses on designing stage clothes for the detective rap musical "This City", the first Hebrew rap musical. The show draws inspiration from black music, movies, and detective films.

Sarah's design inspiration comes from Bettie Page, an American pin-up model, and icon from the 1940s and 1950s, known for her photographs, films, and bold iconic looks.
For this project I designed an outfit for Sarah Bennet, the character of the seductive woman - femme fatale.
The clothing set is for the scene where Sarah sings the song "Absolute Autumn" in a nightclub, which tells the story of her life, her high hopes of reaching the big city, and the subsequent disappointment.
I created a clothing system that combines diverse textiles to achieve a rich and sensual look. The clothing system includes:
+ Corset: bright red with a black outline, with a heart-shaped neckline. It combines cotton fabric and sequins.
+ Skirt: made of velvet fabric and sequins, inspired by the dresses of the "Golden Age" of Hollywood in the 1930s.
+ Scarf: made of fur-like fabric, which adds a touch of luxury and elegance to the ensemble.
